New release: Bytes Route version 1.12 – Mouse 🐁

Bytes Route 1.12 – Mouse is here. This release brings two new features: Launch Widget customization options and a new option for tour creation: optional steps along with some bug fixes and an updated Documentation.

Features

Launch Widget options

A new tab is now available in the app, which allows you to customize the Launch Widget’s domain visibility, positioning, and the widget’s title. Tours for each specific domain are also available in this view. Furthermore, you can now toggle the tour’s visibility within the Launch Widget.

Optional Step

The new checkbox “Optional Step” from the Step Editor enables tour creators to mark specific steps as skippable, preventing the script from being stuck while searching for them. This feature is useful if you have tours going through a login barrier.

Bugfixes

• Fixed a bug that wouldn’t immediately update the tour analytics after a reset.
• Fixed a bug that caused the tour steps numbers in the extension to appear distorted.
• Fixed a bug where users the dashboard would not work correctly if users accessed it through the Tour Link at the end of the tour creation while in the middle of taking the onboarding
